   We miss you Joan and Melissa…

   They are trying to pull you down, but like the phoenix you will rise out of the ashes.

   The Emmy’s was a total boring show!!! The best part of the show was the comedy categories and the commercials (hehehe).

   All of the dresses were colorful with skinny B’s attached… therefore, they were designer garbage.

   thank you, thank you, and thank you again for this recap as I shockingly fell asleep after the men’s room bit cause I knew nothing could top that for entertainment….except for reading about what I missed this morning as only you can re-cap. thank god again for honesty, or do I thank joan and melissa……..missed you on air, but love the actual thoughts…wish there was a way to combine the 2, but not sure if any group would have the chutzpah…..

   I did not watch any part of the Awards show. How could it possibly be an awards show without Joan and Melissa? What the hell is wrong with television? They have completely lost their God Dam minds. The TV Guide channel OH PLEASE! There is just no justification for televisons stupidity. The E channel, VH-1, TV Guide, and or all the main networks have no idea what a tresure they have lost. I’m anxious to see what the ratings turn out to be for all of those involved. Hopefully the ratings will be in the craper so a chill runs up their spines. Something needs to be done to wake them up and bring Joan and Melissa back where they belong, in front of the camera doing what they do best. I believe that ratings are the answer. If they live to be 400 years old they could never find a team to accomplish the job of hosting a red carpet better than Joan and Melissa.

    I boycotted the awards this year due to total lack of interest. Without Joan’s acerbic wit and Melissa’s straight-man input I knew I would be bored to tears. Lisa Rinna and Joe WHO?!?!? I can’t stand watching her painful-looking mouth move a mile a minute. Joan and Melissa are the classic cohosts for the Red Carpet. All others are mere pretenders. Thanks for this web site. Now THIS is entertainment.

    I thought the Emmy’s were contrived this year and really slow. Their heart just wasn’t in it. Low key, low energy and most nominations were not worth it, all the shows suck. Who thought of that stupid seating in the round? I bet he’s fired today. Joan and Melissa you just gotta come back to TV.

    I missed you! I really only watch the show for you, and that is the truth. Everyone is so full of themselves. We all know that they are beauiful, I watch you to know the truth…..well as you see it. I really did not enjoy this without you.

    We “the little people” need you. You make it all seem real for us. I don’t live in this dream world but I like to know that the world is out there. I live in a different place, a place of real problems, illness and death.

    I just wanted you to know that I trully missed you. You are the face of family in the dream world we all wish we could see.

    Even though we in Canada got to hear the uncut version of the Emmys, I still missed your red carpet coverage. When I heard about your blog on Howard Stern, I immediately went to it and enjoyed hearing and reading what many of us were thinking, but you do it with such great snarky humor. Do the Oscars the same way and I’ll be there. The hell with regular television ~ the internet’s the future.

    Joan and Melissa I did watch you during the Emmys and you were the best part of the show because here is where I’d watched the show.

    You and Melissa had me laughing all since yesterday and everytime I think about your gem joke “lapis” I fall down laughing. Great site, hopefully I can expect you to do the Golden Globes, Sag, Tonys….and then the Oscars. I can’t wait for Awards Season now. Do more Ryan Seacrest jokes, those made my day.

    Hated him….hehehehe.

    Joan, I love you, darling. Melissa is the best daughter anyone could wish for. Love that you will find a way to make my dreams of a truly funny woman come true. Screw E and the TVguide channel. Did they actually think a gerbil in a dress and her hamster side kick could replace you? Who gives a damn about Ryan Seacrest and his puppet sized suits. I’m still not sure if he is real or something Fox had cooked up to scare children. As for this Emmy format, who needs it? Without a real host, it’s just a bunch of drunks handing out hood ornaments. And how great did Kathy Griffin look? Seriously, they got a head shot that made her look matronly, but nothing else. Was it just me or did Katie Hiegel was going for the glamor/golden age of hollywood?

    You have to do more on this, I’m basically blind without your star to shine the way.

    My mother andI totally boycotted the Emmy’s this year. Our favorite part was watching Joan and Melissa before the show do the “meet and greet”. I also loved it when they did their “best and worst dressed”. Show is too boring without you Ladies, get back out there!!

    I adored your recap! and hopefully in the future we will have more of your clips instead of just blogs, I simply love to hear your rants and comments. Anyway, your recap’s the best and I’m glad that being online you don’t have to censor yourself, we love your sense of humor!!!
